Pioneer’s latest 1-DIN DVD AV headunit is the ideal starting place for high-end audio customers who want to explore the full range of in-car AV entertainment possibilities. A completely integrated solution, the
AVH-P5700DVD features a car stereo with D4Q digital tuner, DVD player, fully motorised 6.5-inch touch panel display, and powerful audio features. The ultra-thin, built-in DVD/CD player is compatible with the latest digitally encoded discs, including WMA and MP3 digital formats. This AV headunit is primarily designed to be used as a stand-alone unit, but it can also be paired with a Pioneer DVD Cyber Navi unit, like the AVIC-800DVD. All audio, video and navi features are controlled seamlessly on the quick, user-friendly touch panel display. You can also opt to hook up a DAB tuner, multi-CD player or even an iPod® to the IP-Bus*. When the GEX-P5700TVP TV tuner is added, you can make full use of the special split-screen mode, which gives them simultaneous access to their TV display and their route on the map. For realistic multi-sound AV reproduction, you can connect this headunit to the multi-channel digital signal processor, the DEQ-P6600. Tuning fans desiring a GPS-like experience can add the new AVG-VDP1 Vehicle Dynamics Processor. Besides total connectivity, the absence of a hideaway box makes installation surprisingly simple.
