Ring Radiator Tweeter
This innovative tweeter design features linear movement, unlike conventional dome tweeters, reducing distortion and colouration, and ensuring extremely accurate reproduction. The back of the tweeter has a non-reflective cast aluminium tuned air chamber toincrease SPL and dynamic response. A Wave Guide optimises frequency response and sound dispersion.

Wood Fiber Cone with Integrated Wave Guide
Painstakingly selected wood fibre materials and precision design provides both high power handling and ultimate sound quality. An integrated Wave Guide aligns the phases of the sound waves, focusing the sound for optimum performance.

Low Resonance Multi-Roll Surround
By eliminating resonances where the cone and surround meet, this surround creates a more realistic tone and better sound quality.

Fine Tuning
The crossover networks of the Type-X series offer amazingly comprehensive tuning capabilities, letting you optimise the performance of the speakers in your installation by minimising colouration and off-axis balance and correcting phase problems. They also allow bi-amping and fine tweeter level adjustment.
